Privacy

The form asks for a name, an email address, an optional organization, a topic, a message, and an optional telephone number. A consent box records that you asked us to use those details to reply.

Form data is not stored on the server. We use it only to write back. Once the reply is sent, we keep the correspondence in the same mailbox we use for the desk, for as long as the conversation is still live.

A paid or trial seat needs a name, an email address, and a billing address so we can send the letter and the invoice. We do not append extra profiles, and we do not buy lists to enlarge the desk.

This site sets one technical cookie, dnh_cookie_choice, to remember whether you accepted or declined the banner. It lasts 180 days. There are no analytics cookies and no advertising trackers. The longer note is on the cookie page.

The site runs on shared hosting with servers in Canada. The host may keep ordinary server logs such as IP address, time, and the page requested. We use those logs only to keep the site up and to investigate abuse.

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close a seat and remove the associated mail. Write to [email protected]. We answer privacy requests during desk hours, Monday to Friday.
